In Appendix G of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for university hospitals, it states that anyone who is required to complete more than 144 hours of internship, from an external training institution, is entitled to internship compensation. Only people doing internship for medicine are excluded from this in the CBA. Nevertheless, in line with policy of the umbrella of university hospitals, RadboudUMC has decided to unilaterally exclude certain training programs. The faculty student council of medical sciences, together with AKKU, is still trying to realize the internship in accordance with the CBA. In Bijlage G van het CAO (Collectieve Arbeidsovereenkomst) voor universitaire ziekenhuizen, staat dat iedereen die verplicht meer dan 144 uur stage loopt, vanuit een extern opleidingsinstituut, recht heeft op stagevergoeding. Alleen mensen die coschappen lopen zijn hierop in het CAO uitgesloten. Desondanks heeft het RadboudUMC, in lijn met beleid van de koepel van universitaire ziekenhuizen, besloten bepaalde opleidingen eenzijdig uit te sluiten. De facultaire studentenraad van medische wetenschappen probeert samen met AKKU alsnog de stagevergoedingen te verwezenlijken in gesprek met het RadboudUMC.
